Medium Duty Standard Blades are for cutting standard material up to 3/8 inch (0.375) thick.

X-Long Utility Blades are for cutting standard material up to 1/2 inch (0.5) thick. This blade is a bit longer and thicker than the standard medium duty blade. The thickness is for a more stable cut in thicker material where the medium duty may have a tendency to wobble.
Ceramic Blades are for cutting very hard material, such as certain types of plastics.

Ceramic/Teflon Blades are for cutting very dense material, such as rubber or thick poly plates. The squared blade gives a more structured and stable cut. This blade works nicely on the flexo plate cutters on the 45 degree side, especially with thicker plates.
